• Poke-Poke Hawaii 2011 Poke Excursion

  Hawaii is always just a crazy beautiful experience.  The culture, feeling and food of Hawaii is a major inspiration behind Poke-Poke.  We just got back from 5 days of poke eating, surfing and having an awesome time with our Hawaiian friends. 

  1.  Kahuku Superette:  The Kahuku Superette is famous on the North Shore for their poke.  This spot was one of the first spots to offer rice AND we're pretty sure it's the only spot that makes you simply hand the clerk the poke you want.

  

  Below is some Tako, Shoyu Poke, and Clean Limu Poke..DELICIOUS.  Learned a lot from the Shoyu here that had ginger and maybe garlic in it as well as chili oil.
